Area Sales Manager Merchants – South West and South Wales

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + car, phone, laptop plus career progression opportunities

My client is a world class manufacturing business with products that clients need that can be used in a variety of different routes to market.

They are investing and have huge growth plans and are looking to recruit an area sales manager to focus on selling their products to builders merchants, both nationals and independents.

Are you a driven Area Sales Manager looking for a company that is going places and will support your career growth?

You will cover your area, supporting all existing builders merchants and developing into new stockists. This will include national merchants, independent merchants and buying groups.

Within the branches, you will build lasting relationships with staff at branches and head office personnel. You will also work closely with buying groups. The aim of this role is to ensure products are available at each branch with good merchandising. You will also work alongside merchant branches to train and educate contractors on your products, including trade days and product demonstrations.

• Contacts and relationships with national and independent builders merchants

• Experience of selling a construction product, ideally flooring, tiling, adhesives; other products will be considered

• Longevity through roles

• You will have a hunter and farmer mentality

• You will be well versed with working with a structured plan as this is a large area to cover
