At eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Cattle Market Gloucester in the GL1 2SG
area.
You'll be an integral part of a field‑based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well‑stocked.
About the RoleConfirmed working days/hours:
Wednesdays - 6.75 hours during store opening hours (start time is flexible).

This role is for a new client with work starting from 1st March 2026. You will be provided with a full induction beforehand.
Responsibilities- Compliance and Standards:
Stick to merchandising standards, guidelines, store policies, procedures, and health and safety guidance. - Planogram Implementation:
Follow and implement planograms to ensure consistency and compliance. - Product Placement and Replenishment:
Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal. - Promotional and Point of Sale Setup:
Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers. - Strong communication and relationship building:
Build and maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, particularly department and store managers. - Feedback:
Provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application.
- Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive having ownership of your own work within set time frames, using your own initiative to find solutions.
- Pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
- Comfortable with a bit of manual handling, moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
- Willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (you'll be paid extra to do so).
- Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a car is required.
