An established food manufacturer is looking for an Trainee/junior Maintenance Engineer to join their site growing team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gain exposure to high-speed automated machinery, and broaden your electrical and mechanical capability in a supportive team.

The Role

* Support breakdown response across production machinery

* Assist with electrical and mechanical fault finding

* Help deliver reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)

* Repair and test plant equipment

* Contribute to improving reliability and performance on site
You'll gain hands-on experience across a busy, automated production environment where no two days are the same.

What We're Looking For

* Have an understanding of both Mechanical & Electrical maintenance within the food industry

* Electrical qualification (HNC/HND/City & Guilds) or strong practical experience

* Experience with automated or conveyor-based machinery (Preferred)

* A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
