Band Knife Operative

Overview

• A vacancy has arisen for an experienced industrial band-knife operator to cut foam to size and shape, working from written instructions, drawings or templates. Job specific training would be given.
• Applicants must be able to work in both imperial and metric measurements.
• Some heavy lifting is involved and would suit a hard working, practical and versatile person.

• You would become part of our team of long-standing employees, with a minimum starting salary of £29,000 per year. (Negotiable depending on experience).
• Hours of work: (40 per week).

• Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 12.30pm & 1.00 - 4.30pm.
• Friday: 7.00am - 1.00pm. Some overtime may be available or required.
• Holidays: 20 days per year (22 days after 2 years), plus all bank holidays.
• 4 days holiday to be taken at Christmas/New Year shutdown.
