Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist, based in Gloucester. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machinery and performing milling and machining tasks to create precision‑engineered plastic components. Additional responsibilities include carrying out quality control checks, maintaining and calibrating machinery, and ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with team members to achieve production goals and deliver high‑quality components to customers.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Machine Operation and assembly processes
  • Proficiency in Machining and Milling techniques
  • Knowledge of Quality Control procedures to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Familiarity with maintaining and operating CNC Machinery
  • Attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings
  • Problem‑solving skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is an advantage
  • Formal training or certifications in CNC machining or a related field preferred
