Mission description:

Due to increased workload and expansion of our Production team, we are looking for a Machinist to join our MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) site in Gloucester. You will work with the latest equipment, gain valuable experience in aircraft production, and have opportunities for learning and career progression.

• Set up and operate machine tools to produce and repair aircraft parts to high standard and tolerance.
• Machine parts to meet aerospace specifications.
• Apply Lean Sigma and 5S principles to continuous improvement activities that reduce processing times and manufacturing hours.

• Engineering apprenticeship ideally gained in aerospace or manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good computer, mathematical and problem‑solving skills.
• Team‑working ethic, self‑man reliable.
• Willingness to train and acquire new skills.
• Experience or understanding of Lean Sigma and 5S.
