Trainee Paint Sprayer – Structural Steel

Salary – £13ph to £15ph. Overtime rates: 1x1/4 in the week, 1.5 on Saturdays, 2x on Sundays.

£100 monthly attendance bonus.

Discretionary Christmas bonus.

Full training provided.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Paint Sprayer to join a well-established UK contractor operating nationally across steel fabrication, construction and design-and-build projects.

The role is suited to someone reliable, hands‑on and keen to learn a skilled trade. Full training will be provided, with genuine progression opportunities into other areas of the business for those who show commitment and ability.

• Assisting with preparation and spraying of steel components
• Surface preparation including cleaning, masking and priming
• Supporting experienced paint sprayers on live projects
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Learning paint systems, finishes and application techniques

• Keen to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a workshop or site environment
• Any previous workshop, construction or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
