AboutThe Role
The Asset Management and Property Services team manages the Gloucestershire County Council estate. We are an established Property Services and Estates Management team who take pride in delivering high quality service across the County, including educational establishments, to ensure we have a fully compliant estate. We have the knowledge and expertise to advise on legislative, statutory requirements, national guidelines and best practice requirements for property matters.
Responsibilities
:
- Provide contract support to Gloucestershire County Council’s contractors and monitor compliance of over 100 buildings across the county.
- Ensure that all requirements of the frameworks, KPI’s and specifications are met through regular checks and liaison meetings with contractors and GCC property staff.
- Establish and maintain dialogue with Heads of establishments or their representatives and maintain effective working relationships with contractors through regular meetings and discussions.
- Provide day-to-day support for the GCC’s Building Helpdesk, including technical advice and reactive maintenance solutions.
- Investigate complaints regarding the provision of any service contract and agree deductions for non-compliance where appropriate.
- Identify performance and training gaps with contractors and provide effective solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents for service contracts.
Requirements
:
- Self-motivated, well organised and experienced Facilities Management Contracts Manager.
- Ability to communicate effectively to establish and maintain dialogue with stakeholders and contractors.
- Capability to support the Building Helpdesk and provide technical advice and reactive maintenance solutions.
- Customer service and complaint handling skills relevant to service contracts.
- Ability to identify performance and training gaps and implement solutions.
- Experience in assisting with tender documentation for service contracts.
