As Team Manager for Partnerships and Employers, you will play a key role engaging organisations and employers to drive referrals and employer engagement to secure sustainable employment for our customers.
Aboutthe Role
Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub offers a one-stop source of information, advice, guidance and support around employment and skills. Working with a range of partners and employers in localities across Gloucestershire the Hub delivers 1:1 support through a number of programmes for people with barriers to sustaining or retaining work, as well as advice and signposting for any resident looking for help.
We are looking for an experienced leader to manage the Partnerships and Employer Engagement teams within our new Connect to Work supported employment programme, which will support 2,900 people over the next four years.
As the Team Manager for Partnerships and Employer Engagement, you will lead specialist teams responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with partner organisations to drive referrals into the programme and develop support offers that help participants progress on their Connect to Work journey into sustained paid employment.
You will also oversee our Employer Engagement team, who work closely with businesses to source suitable job opportunities, promote inclusive employment practices, and provide ongoing support, including in‑work retention, to ensure positive outcomes for both participants and employers.
You will be part of a team that is vibrant and diverse, so a passion for inclusive employment will be essential. This is an exciting role, and your opportunity to have a substantial influence on the shape and delivery of a ground-breaking new programme.
About YouYou will have demonstrable experience of managing at a senior level, including performance management. Experience working within a diverse team or with people who have disabilities, health conditions or other barriers to employment will be essential, along with the passion to influence change. You will be confident and skilled in building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including employers and community‑based organisations.
You will have the ability to interpret guidance to develop systems and processes and be able to analyse data.
