Service Manager – Full time – Permanent - £45k - Swindon
Our client is looking for an experienced Head of Services to provide senior leadership across a portfolio of children and young people’s emotional wellbeing services.
This role offers the opportunity to shape service delivery, lead multidisciplinary teams and work collaboratively with partners across a complex health system. The successful candidate will be a confident, emotionally intelligent leader with strong clinical credibility and experience driving service development and change.
This is a senior position for someone motivated by impact, quality and values-led leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide senior leadership and oversight across children and young people’s emotional wellbeing services
* Set and communicate a clear service vision, working closely with partners and commissioners
* Lead service development and improvement, informed by outcomes, data and lived experience
* Ensure high-quality delivery, clinical governance, contract performance and budget oversight
* Support and hold service leads to account, ensuring effective supervision and workforce development
* Manage capacity, demand and performance to meet agreed targets and access standards
* Participate in senior leadership duties, including an on-call rota
Skills & Experience
* Senior leadership experience within children and young people’s mental health services
* A confident, proactive leader able to engage teams and drive change
* Strong strategic thinking and service development experience
* In-depth knowledge of CYP emotional wellbeing and mental health pathways
* Excellent partnership-working and communication skills
* Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people
