We are recruiting on behalf of a leading residential developer for an exceptional opportunity to join a flagship, multi-phase housing development in Gloucester. This is a high-profile role for a Senior Site Manager with a proven track record in new build housing, looking to take ownership of a major project from start to finish.

This is a key senior role offering autonomy, the chance to lead a large team, and be part of a prestigious residential development with a clear path for career progression.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing all on-site activities for a multi-phase housing development

* Leading and developing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers

* Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

* Planning and managing programmes, logistics, and resources

* Liaising with senior management, consultants, and key stakeholders

* Monitoring performance, reporting progress, and driving continuous improvement

* Maintaining a positive, professional site culture

About You

* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within new build housing

* Strong management and leadership skills, able to inspire and lead multi-disciplinary teams

* Experienced in delivering large-scale, multi-phase residential developments

* Excellent knowledge of construction methods, H&S legislation, and best practice

* Confident, proactive, and commercially aware

* CSCS / SMSTS qualified (essential)
