Up to £35,360pa DOE. Plus £15 shift allowance per day on late shifts.
One-week early shift 06:00 – 14:30. One-week late shift 14:00 – 22:30, Monday to Friday.
If you’re looking to join an award-winning company that offers a fantastic career, Rygor has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician at their Mercedes-Benz dealership in Gloucester. In this role, you’ll keep customers’ vehicles on the road through safe, compliant and high‑quality maintenance, always delivering exceptional service. Whatyou will add value by:
- Performing major and minor repairs to Mercedes‑Benz Trucks.
- Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services.
- Maintaining inventory in the workshop and ensuring cleanliness from oil spills and dust.
- Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
- Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired, using all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge.
- Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.
- Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting.
- Ensuring the highest levels of health and safety, quality and compliance.
- Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales.
You will need to be Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus must have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs. You should be able to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards and hold a current, full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.
