IT Test Manager

I’m currently partnering with a highly respected public sector organisation responsible for delivering critical frontline and community services across the region. They are investing significantly in digital transformation and are now looking for an experienced IT Test Manager to shape and lead their testing capability.

This is more than just a management role — you’ll have the opportunity to design, develop and mature the QA function while remaining hands‑on where needed. The systems you help assure directly support operational teams and essential services, giving the role genuine purpose and impact.

• Lead and oversee all testing activities across projects and work streams
• Develop and embed robust QA processes and governance
• Manage risk, reporting, metrics and stakeholder communication
• Provide technical testing capability alongside team leadership
• Influence how quality assurance evolves across the organisation

• Proven experience in Test Management
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes
• Confident leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage risk and make critical decisions
• Exposure to automation tools/frameworks (desirable)
• Salary up to £57,186 (including Market Force uplift, reviewed annually)
