Overview
Langley House Trust is seeking a committed and creative Care Team Leader to join our supportive team in Cheltenham. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering 40 hours per week, 12.5 hour shifts (including weekends), and a competitive salary of £31,588 per annum. This role will include being part of the on‑call rota.

- Assisting the on‑site management team in supervising all care staff and monitoring the care given to our clients.
- Spending time with clients and monitoring service standards.
- Conducting regular key working sessions with allocated clients and enabling them to participate fully in the life of the service, including client meetings.
- Helping clients achieve the aims of their support plan.
- Maintaining a clear and calm manner whilst managing client risk through assessment, planning, client knowledge and de‑escalation as required.
- Helping induct, train, and supervise colleagues and junior members of staff in all aspects of their work in the Home.
- Writing, updating, and maintaining clients’ Care Plans.
- Completing documentation, referrals and returns where necessary.
- Liaising with necessary internal and external stakeholders, specialist agencies and keeping them up to date with progress of applications and referrals.
A satisfactory Enhanced DBS with Adult Barred List check is required for this role. Applicants must provide evidence of right to work in the UK. This role is eligible for consideration under the Employee Referral Scheme.
