This is an on‑site, full‑time Carer role located in Newent. As a Carer, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assistance to individuals with disabilities while promoting their independence and well‑being. Daily tasks include helping with personal hygiene, bathing assistance, supporting mobility and transportation needs, and engaging in meaningful activities to enhance quality of life. You will also collaborate with colleagues to ensure personalized care plans are effectively implemented while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

• Hours:
  
  30 per week (Mon–Thurs, 9am–5pm)
• Pay: £12.40 per hour

• Strong skills in caregiving, including personal care, mobility assistance, and meal preparation.
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Understanding of health and safety practices, including first aid and infection control.
• Compassion, patience, and dedication to working with individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a professional, on‑site environment.
• Prior experience in care‑related roles is advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to undergo training and pursue qualifications related to health and social care.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and working hours.
