Job Responsibilities

Provide interim executive-level support to Gloucestershire County Council

Deliver strategic and operational leadership as required

Support key organisational priorities and decision-making

Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and internal teams

Ensure compliance with council policies, procedures, and governance requirements

Person Specification

Must-Have Requirements

Proven experience in a senior or executive-level role

Eligibility to work in the UK, with documentation verified

Ability to provide a minimum of three years’ employment references, including verification of any gaps

Willingness to undergo standard compliance and background checks

Acceptance of the stated pay rate and contract terms

Nice-to-Have Requirements

Previous experience working within a local authority or public sector organisation

Familiarity with local government governance and compliance standards
