Overview
We have an opportunity for a full time, permanent member to join our Finance Team as a Finance Officer.
You will support the transition from manual processing of overtime and expenses to implementing Phase 2 of the new GRS (Duty Management System).
Responsibilities- Support the processing of officer and staff overtime
- Support the processing of officer and staff expenses
- Raise Purchase Orders
- Raise debtor invoices
- Any other ad hoc task of a similar nature
- And time allowing, and if you become keen to get more involved, you will support accurate reporting and forecasting of the financial position.
Our Finance Officers play a vital role in keeping the data we hold up to date, making sure it's accurate, meaningful and comprehensive. In addition, the Finance Officers' processing, analysis and interpretation of the data supports the budget holders and the wider Constabulary to make good financial decisions.

We are looking for a personable and diligent individual who will join a collaborative, helpful and friendly team.
In this role you will work closely with the wider Finance Team and other colleagues in driving innovation and efficiency for the department and the Constabulary while supporting the delivery on our commitment of diversity and inclusion.
