Overview

Service Technician (Commissioning / Installation / Maintenance) – Gloucester

Circa A £45,000 Base Salary DOE + International Travel Bonus (from 25% Per Day) + Contributory Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Group Life Assurance (5x Salary) + Income Protection + Private Medical Insurance

37 Hours Per Week - Week 1 Monday to Friday, Week 2 Monday to Thursday - Every Second Friday Off

• Support the assembly and building of machinery at the company s site in Gloucester; carry out final testing and inspections to ensure high quality standards; oversee the strip down of the machinery before it is sent to the customer site for reassembly.
• Spend 80 to 150 days per year at customer sites, up to three weeks at a time; rebuild, install, commission and modify equipment and resolve issues to customer satisfaction. Also support training of those operating the machinery, so good communications skills are a must.
• Balance duties between the workshop in Gloucester and international travel to client sites.

• Mechanically biased engineer, apprenticeship time-served or equivalent, with an understanding of pneumatics and basic electrics.
• Experience working with automated machinery in any industry background.
• Completed an apprenticeship (or equivalent).
