Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new company
You'll be joining a major infrastructure project team delivering a significant highways improvement scheme in the Gloucestershire region. The programme includes junction redevelopment, new slip roads and route widening.

Your new role
As a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take the lead on commercial management for key civil engineering work packages. You will oversee cost control, forecasting, subcontract management, change processes and NEC-based contract administration. Working closely with engineering and delivery teams, you'll ensure financial governance and support the successful execution of this Highways Infrastructure Scheme.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need proven experience as a Senior QS within highways or major civil engineering projects, strong NEC contract knowledge and the ability to operate autonomously in a freelance capacity. Excellent commercial reporting, analytical skills and effective stakeholder communication are essential to succeed in this role.
Requirements:

• Highways Experience as a QS/SQS or similar roles
• NEC3/4 Knowledge and prior experience
• Immediately available (up to 2 weeks notice is fine)
• Previously worked as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Able to travel to site in Gloucestershire
