Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Overview

My client is an award-winning Environmental Consultancy involved in a range of services from site investigations through to remediation, ecological works, and waste treatment. They have a great client-base working with a diverse range of industry leading clients including contractors, developers, local authorities and government bodies.

They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing business who will help in the successful financial delivery of projects. In the role you will be working alongside a senior Quantity Surveyor and have responsibility for project cost management and reporting through to final account. You will work closely with their supply chain, prepare and review tenders ensuring understanding of client requirements for effective value engineering.

• Work with a senior Quantity Surveyor on the financial delivery of projects, with responsibility for project cost management and reporting through to final account.
• Collaborate with the supply chain, prepare and review tenders, ensuring understanding of client requirements for value engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years Quantitiy Surveying experience with a background in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Track record in managing and delivering against deadlines.
• Knowledge of cost management software and tools.
