Monday - Thursday (08:00-16:15), Friday (08:00-13:15)
Salary: £26,000 - £27,500
Job Description
Our client is an independent training provider dedicated to developing the next generation. Working with leading employers across the county, they deliver high quality apprenticeships and technical training. We are looking for a proactive, diligent, and multiskilled Learner Progress Administrator to help the learners succeed personally, socially, and professionally throughout their learning journey.
This role sits within the Learner Services Team, supporting learners and ensuring their progress is carefully monitored and supported. You will be integral to the wellbeing and success of the apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
* Record and report learner punctuality and absences, identifying and addressing barriers to learning, attendance, and engagement.
* Schedule, collate, and carry out learner progress reviews four times a year.
* Work closely with tutors, employers, and peers to support learners’ wellbeing and progression.
* Promote positive mental health, wellbeing, and personal and social development.
* Support the wider Learner Services Team with administration and communication as required.
* Deliver workshops and awareness sessions on topics such as resilience, equality, and personal safety.
Key Skills
* Passionate about supporting education and individual welfare and development.
* A great communicator; approachable, empathetic, and confident in challenging situations.
* Organised and proactive, capable of managing a varied caseload.
* Experience in education, apprenticeships, youth work, or a similar environment.
* Welfare or mental health awareness (or willingness to train).
* Experience supporting life and work readiness of apprentices.
* Strong IT and administrative skills.
* Comfortable with one-to-one or small group discussions with learners.
