Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs?
A specialist alternative provision in Gloucester is seeking a motivated and resilient Psychology Graduate to support secondary‑aged students who face challenges in mainstream education. This role is ideal for aspiring psychologists wanting practical experience within a relationship‑focused, therapeutic learning environment.
The Role- Support students with SEMH, behavioural needs and additional learning needs
- Promote emotional regulation, positive behaviour and engagement with learning
- Build strong relationships and support reintegration pathways
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral teams in a small specialist setting
- Excellent experience for aspiring Clinical, Educational or Forensic Psychologists
- Gain practical SEMH and behaviour support experience
- High staff-to-student ratios and supportive team environment
- Valuable stepping stone into psychology, therapy or specialist education
- Psychology Graduate or related degree
- Passionate about SEN and mental health
- Resilient, patient and confident supporting behaviour
Full-time, long‑term role starting ASAP / September starts available.
