What skills and experience we’re looking for:
Hold a recognised degree (or equivalent) with a good classification in a relevant subject. Teaching qualification (QTS) and Qualified Teacher Status. Commitment to own self‑development and further CPD. Ability to teach your subject area up to Key Stage 4 with a desire to further raise overall achievement. Implementation of high discipline/classroom management and a flexible approach that supports all students. Commitment to the School’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedure, high standards and expectations, and strong professional integrity.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead a brand‑new department ensuring students engage in computing at Key Stage 3 and study Computer Science/interactive media at Key Stage
4. Work closely with other schools in the Greenshaw Learning Trust to share best practice. Support the Technology faculty and participate in working groups within the Trust. Provide regular CPD and collaboration opportunities for staff.

- Understanding of Exam Board specifications and effective curriculum planning.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching your subject.
- Detailed knowledge of current curriculum and pedagogical developments.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
- Willingness to be involved in all aspects of school life and to uphold safeguarding for children.
