We are looking for a Planned Works Supervisor to oversee daily operations across a range of civil works projects, primarily supporting electrical infrastructure. You will ensure that all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This role is key in coordinating site activities, leading teams and liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

• Supervise on‑site civil works, including trenching, foundations and cable laying
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
• Monitor site progress, quality and safety, reporting issues as required
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
• Ensure works are completed in line with engineering drawings and specifications
• Resolve on‑site issues promptly to minimise disruption
• Carry out regular site inspections and maintain accurate site records
• Support pre‑start and completion walk‑outs with clients and supervisors on larger projects
• Prepare and review project documentation required for invoicing and internal approvals
• Provide quotations for additional works where required
• Maintain CPD and attend mandatory training

• Self‑driven and results‑oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders
• Confident communicator with excellent problem‑solving abilities
• High level of attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider operational team

• Proven experience in a similar supervisory or site management role within civil engineering or utilities
• Strong understanding of civil works and compliance requirements
• Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Power Point

• Gold or Black CSCS Card
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• First Aid
• Full UK Driving Licence
