We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Team Manager to join our Fostering Support Team on a permanant basis.

About the team
Our Fostering Support Teams are responsible for supporting Gloucestershire’s fostering households. We work with foster carers and their families enabling them to provide therapeutic and nurturing parenting to children in their care. Join our friendly Fostering Service where we you will receive regular reflective supervision, evidence-based training and support to develop and progress. Our teams are made up of a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, Supervising Social Workers, and Family Support Workers.
About the role
As a Deputy Team Manager, you will be expected to offer day to day support for the Team Manager. Tasks can involve supervision, performance management, delivery of high quality services, providing a culture of continuous professional development and assisting with the team budget. You can also expect to take accountability for the legal process on behalf of the Council which includes attending Court as and when required, and managing staff performance.
