Hybrid Social Worker – Children & Families

We have several opportunities available for agency Social Workers in Gloucestershire, paid at a very competitive pay rate.

• Children & Families – Gloucester - £42 per hour
• Children & Families – Stroud - £42 per hour
• Children & Families – Cheltenham - £42 per hour
• Children & Families – Tewkesbury - £42 per hour

(The caseload for this team will be a mix of Child in Need, Child Protection & Children in Care which includes some court work.)

• Children in Care – Cheltenham - £41 per hour

(It is essential that candidates have experience or are skilled at writing CPR’s (child permanence report) under supervision. They need to have knowledge and practice of working with children in care and considering their needs fully, a good understanding of family finding and matching with adopters, including completion of relevant Court reports and support plans.)

Hybrid working available for all roles.

Requirements of the role:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
• Must have significant experience of working in a Children’s Social Care setting with demonstrable skills in the named areas of work.
