Overview

An experienced administrator is needed to support the Patient Safety and Quality Team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

• Respond to routine enquiries from staff and external organisations.
• Support the Datix System Manager with administration of the Trust Risk Management Software.
• Take minutes, answer the phone, electronic filing, generate basic reports and perform data entry.
• Co‑ordinate and support training in patient safety and risk processes, maintaining training records.
• Maintain shared email inboxes and phone lines, directing queries appropriately.
• Carry out basic quality assurance checks and update data dashboards.
• Support the Patient Safety and Quality team in tracking incidents and action plans.
• Enter data and generate reports from databases and spreadsheets using defined search criteria.
• Manage electronic storage provisions through Share drives and SharePoint sites.
• Support the Datix system by approving contacts, creating user profiles and resetting passwords.
• Carry out any other duties compatible with grade as discussed with Line Manager.

• At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a health care setting.
• Experience with electronic databases or management systems and ability to learn Trust‑specific software.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proactive, diligent and able to remain focused during repetitive tasks.

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday;
Wednesday is a non‑working day.
