A brand-new permanent opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive company based in the heart of Gloucester.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a growing business, who is highly invested in supporting professional development opportunities, on a part-time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, proactive, and confidential personal assistant to the Managing Director acting as a key gatekeeper and organisational partner.
To apply for this position you must have previous experience in a senior executive support role.
Responsibilities- Provide support with complex diary and inbox management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements
- Act as a trusted first point of contact, managing communications with both internal and external teams and clients
- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials
- Coordinate leadership and board-level meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking and tracking of actions and follow-ups
- Support scheduling, and preparation for key meetings, reviews, and external engagements
- Support office administration such as coordination of office facilities, supplies, and liaison with service providers
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems, ensuring information is easily accessible and audit-ready
- Assist with HR-related administration, including onboarding logistics, induction coordination, and maintenance of employee records
- Provide light finance and commercial administration support, including processing invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders where required
- Support the coordination of internal events, leadership meetings, and company activities
- Ensure company policies, procedures, templates, and contact records are kept up to date
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to senior leadership and teams as required, flexing workload in line with business priorities
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, anticipatory approach with the confidence to use judgement and take initiative
- Highly trustworthy and comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Calm, adaptable, and resilient in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm (open to slight variation in hours for right candidate)
Salaryup to £32,000 pro rata, depending on experience
