Job Description
We are seeking customer service professionals with the ability to provide exceptional guest service for the position of Front Desk Agent at the Beauport Hotel. This position will be responsible for the prompt and courteous service to our guests upon arrival and departure, as well as throughout the guest's stay. Our goal is to create memorable guest experiences for every guest, every stay.

Must have at least one year of experience in Customer Service. Previous experience in a hotel is preferred.
Essential Functions- Greet guests upon arrival and complete established check‑in procedures.
- Facilitate guest departure (check‑out) by following established procedures to close guest accounts and prepare rooms for the next guest.
- Post receipts, guest accounts, and other credit forms using accurate cash‑handling methods to ensure correct hotel charges at check‑out.
- Answer inquiries in person and by phone, accurately communicating rates and using selling techniques to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Maintain good customer relations by knowing all hotel services and area amenities to answer questions in a timely and knowledgeable manner.
- Control cash transactions at the front desk and maintain responsibility for the personal bank as specified by hotel policy.
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems such as Room Master (preferred).
- Working knowledge of front‑office operations (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, accurately, and with attention to detail.
- Team collaboration skills.
- Sound judgment and ability to evaluate situations and use appropriate resources.
- Self‑directed, motivated, and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing. Second language desirable.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Compensation commensurate with skills and qualifications. Salary range $19‑$20/hr.
- Hotel property with 94 guest rooms.
- Work primarily in front‑of‑house hotel areas: lobby and front desk.
- Group and solo work.
