We’re hiring a dedicated and empathetic Team Leader for our exceptional Children’s care home in Gloucester.

Starting salary of £13.45/hour, potentially increasing to *£16.15/hour with sleep-ins (£40 each, 1-2 per week) and mentorship scheme.

* This hourly rate is calculated from the base hourly rate plus weekly sleep-ins

Role Overview: As a Team Leader, you’ll work with young adults with complex needs. You’ll lead a team of Support Workers, ensuring care plans are followed. You will be part of at least a two-person team, supporting young people aged between 15 – 23. Your day may involve helping residents attend educational or recreational activities, assisting with household chores and meal preparation, or joining them on outings like cinema trips or spa visits.

Requirements: Applicants for the Team Leader role should hold a Level 2 in Health & Social Care and be willing to work towards their Level 4, have experience in supporting people with complex needs, and be competent in managing daily responsibilities and record-keeping. Salary & Additional Details:

• Starting salary of £13.45/hour, potentially increasing to £16.15/hour with sleep-ins (£40 each, 1-2 per week) and mentorship scheme (£150 per mentee on passing each probation, up to £1800/year). This totals up to an extra £5640 per year.

• Day (7am-3pm / 2pm-10pm) or night (10pm-7am) shifts available.
