Globe, AZ (85501) - Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU), adult critical care
- Shift: 12-hour nights + call (night shift travel nurse)
- Guaranteed
Hours:
36 hours per week - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2360–$2480 per week (based on experience and qualifications)
- Employment Type: Travel contract (short-term travel assignment)
- EMR: Meditech 6.0 (experience preferred)
- Call Requirement: Some 24-hour call shifts required
- Flu Vaccine: Required (no exceptions)
- 100-Mile Radius Rule: Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
- RTO: No more than 3 days off may be requested per contract
- Active RN license in the United States (able to work as an ICU RN)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU / critical care nursing experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Willingness to float to Med Surg as needed (Med Surg float)
- Meditech 6.0 EMR experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work night shift and take scheduled call shifts
- Flu vaccination required (no exceptions)
- Must live >100 miles from the facility per travel nursing requirements
- Critical Care Certification (CCRN) or equivalent is a plus
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills in the ICU
- Experience with vent management, titratable drips, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Excellent interdisciplinary communication and documentation skills
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using Meditech 6.0
- Administer medications, IV drips, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately
- Manage ventilators, hemodynamic lines, and advanced monitoring devices as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Float to Med Surg unit when requested to support patient care and unit staffing
- Participate in required 24-hour call shifts and respond promptly to emergent situations
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with facility policies and travel contract requirements
