Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

About the Company

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the accounting close process and perform financial analysis, reconciliations, and reporting activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned duties as part of the accounting close process.
• Apply knowledge of accounting policies and procedures to tasks including recording journal entries, collaborating with site finance teams, and conducting research and analysis.
• Analyze financial and operational data and communicate results effectively and in a timely manner to management and site finance personnel.
• Perform analysis and account reconciliations through system queries, research, investigation of reconciling items, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Review existing processes and identify improvements as new requirements are added to the month-end close process.
• Use accounting knowledge to recommend practical solutions that improve efficiency.
• Support additional accounting activities and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with six (6) years of professional accounting experience, including two (2) years of progressive learning or training (certifications, formal instruction, or on-the-job training) in Accounting or Finance; OR
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field with four (4) years of professional accounting experience; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with two (2) years of accounting experience; OR
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
