Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with at least 2 years of acute care or med-surg/telemetry experience for a Med-Surg Adult Acute Care day shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an adult acute care/med-surg and observation unit

• Patient population includes post-orthopedic surgery, hybrid cath lab procedures, and various acute or chronic illnesses

• 12-hour day shifts with required weekend rotation

• Call rotation required, with one call shift per two-week period as needed due to staffing

• Must work in a hospital setting

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care for complex disease states

• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Facility offers newly remodeled, move-in-ready housing options for travelers based on availability

• No pets allowed in facility-provided housing

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care, med-surg, telemetry, or similar RN experience required

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

• Proof of flu vaccination is required with no exemptions accepted
