Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN with at least two years of post-anesthesia care experience and a current CO or compact license.
Responsibilities
• Work in a hospital Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting
• Responsible for the care of patients in the post-anesthesia phase
• 3x12 hour day shifts with rotating evening and weekend call required
• Epic EMR experience is required due to active system conversion
• Nursing care must be provided in accordance with ANA Standards of Nursing Practice
• Role includes leadership responsibilities and participation in shared governance
• Housing opportunities are available near the hospital for travelers, subject to availability
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the hospital; local candidates within this radius are not eligible
Requirements
• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state, in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS, all through the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic EMR is required
• flu vaccine required with no exemptions accepted
