PRN positions available for RNs in our Acute Care/Med Surg!
The Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients. The nurse will use their specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care, utilizing the nursing process. We currently have PRN Day/Night positions, working rotating weekends.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the Acute Care/Med Surg setting, using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health care team.
- Monitor and document patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate as needed.
- Support patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Current Colorado RN license or eligibility to obtain.
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in Acute Care, Med Surg, or Telemetry.
- BSN is preferred.
- $37.50 - $56.23/hour (BSN) + 14% PRN Differential
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
- Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, BSN, MSN
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential for 4+ consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm
- $4.00/hour night shift differential for 4+ consecutive hours between 11:00pm-7:30am
- $4.25/hour weekend shift differential for 5+ continuous hours between 7:00pm Friday and 7:00am Monday
- Annual bonuses to eligible PRN employees based on organizational and individual performance
