Key Responsibilities

Voter Outreach

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing and make phone calls to engage Latino voters and their families about the upcoming election and the importance of voting.
• Help Latino voters understand how to register, where to vote, and what is on the ballot.
• Listen to community concerns and collect stories and lived experiences.

Community Engagement

• Conduct outreach at churches and staff tabling events to identify Latino voters and promote civic participation.
• Support additional outreach and organizing activities as needed.

Data & Reporting

• Accurately enter canvassing, phone banking, and outreach information using provided tools.
• Keep clear and timely notes on conversations, contacts, and outcomes.
• Share field updates, challenges, and observations with a supervisor.

• Spanish–English bilingual required.
• Comfortable talking with people in person and knocking doors.
• Commitment to Latino civic engagement.
• Available 8–16 hours per week, primarily evenings and weekends.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Able to travel within Mesa, Garfield, Eagle, and Summit Counties.
• Preference for candidates who live in the region.

• Hourly, seasonal position for the 2026 election.
• Typical shifts include evenings (4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.) and weekends (10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.).
• Phone banking can be done from home or at one of our offices.
• Mileage reimbursement provided for canvassing.
• Must be able to walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Hourly pay ranges from $17–$20, depending on experience.
• Weekly hours will vary by month based on outreach needs and election timelines.
