Verovian Healthcare Recruitment Agency is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery team for the night shift in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

As part of the Labor & Delivery unit, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive birthing experience.

Job specification

• Provide care and support to mothers throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vitals, and labor progression, intervening when necessary to ensure safety.
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor and delivery, including the administration of medications and epidurals.
• Educate patients and families on labor processes, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Document patient information accurately, adhering to hospital policies and best practices.
• Provide emotional and physical support to mothers and families, ensuring a positive birth experience.

Candidate requirements

• Current RN license in Colorado.
• 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is preferred.
• Strong ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment while providing compassionate care.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
