Responsibilities- Execute, Party and monitor inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
- Support pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
- Champion On‑Shelf Availability and ensure accurate receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in‑store inventory processes, validating planograms.
- Review and coordinate the proper use of reports and system applications to maintain accurate front end and pharmacy balances and pricing.
- Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques and file claims for overages, shortages, order errors, and damaged goods including prescription drugs.
- Open and close the store in the absence of store management, performing system start‑ups, cash handling, cashier responsibilities, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for business.
- Engage customers by greeting them, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Model andESO share customer service best practices with all team members, including proactive help, need identification, and service until satisfaction.
- Execute and coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes including order creation, reviewing, and receiving.
- Scan deliveries, focus on One Box receiving, and take the appropriate action to mark a delivery as received.
- Verify all pharmacy shipments are posted for products physically received; complete or verify postings of all pharmacy orders, ABC prescription and OTC orders, secondary vendor orders, flu and dropship orders.
- Complete OSA end‑to‑end process including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD) for planogrammed departments, executing disposals, call‑ins, vendor returns, scan‑outs, and returns on all subscribed departments.
- Under the pharmacist‑in‑charge supervision, complete pharmacy inventory activities including recalls, vendor returns, non‑controlled, and damaged salvage returns.
- Demonstrate basic department pricing: daily price changes, accurate signage, and regulatory pricing tasks.
- Support front end and pharmacy ordering by ordering expense items and monitoring manual orders to identify excesses.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts, on‑hand quantities, and pull & quarantine item availability.
- Maintain inventory compliance with state and local regulations regarding regulated products.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records, posting all products, and organizing files and invoices.
- Help prepare for physical inventory day activities and support the inventory day process.
- Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised.
- Co‑train store team on package delivery activities, scanning in/out of packages, daily inventory functions, and pickup program execution.
- When serving as leader on duty, register all related sales onр POS, manage errors, voids, returns, refunds, and cash drops.
- Comply with all company policies, maintain respectful relationships with coworkers, and complete ensuring additional activities as assigned.
- Attend company‑based trainings for continuous development and complete all e‑learning modules including safety training.
- Obtain and maintain a valid pharmacy license or certification as required by the state.
- Serve as a liaison Harold management and non‑management team members by coaching and developing other competencies with inventory systems. When serving as the leader on duty, communicate assigned tasks to team members and report disciplinary issues$x and customer complaints to management.
- Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required (except in Puerto Rico). }}
- Prior experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate is preferred.
- Prior work experience with Walgreens and an evaluation on file is preferred.
