Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator - Location:
Glenbrook Hospital - Full time
- Hours:
6a - 2:30p 5-days per week OR 6:30 - 4:30 4-days per week Mon - Fri
- Has accountability for perioperative nursing care provided in his/her designated surgical specialties.
- Coordinates department throughput, efficiencies, resources and staffing.
- Secures/Procures and maintains supplies, equipment and instruments necessary to deliver optimal surgical care
- Coordinates perioperative workflows, activities, and communicate to all key stakeholders working with or in the perioperative areas.
- Education:
- BSN or currently enrolled in BSN program. Degree must be acquired within 24 mths, from an accredited nursing program, of hire.
- Certification/License:
- IL RN License
- CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience:
- Experience in OR setting
- Team building, leadership acumen, critical thinking and effective communication.
- Must demonstrate competency in care of all patient age groups specific to specialty. Competencies are unit/specialty specific.
