Hourly Pay Range
Hourly Pay Range: $48.93 - $75.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights- Position: Clinical Nurse Manager
- Kellogg Cancer Center - Location: Glenbrook Hospital
- Full Time | 40 hours/week
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
- Required Travel: Ability to travel to other sites as needed
- Hold 24/7 accountability and responsibility for the professional nursing practice, professional development, performance improvement initiatives, daily operations, and fiscal management for the assigned clinical unit.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance bodies.
- Create a departmental environment that is therapeutic which promotes engagement with our nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- Establishes constructive partnerships with peers to promote loyalty for patients, families, nursing, physicians, and employees.
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
- Leads unit and department quality initiatives using research and evidence-based practice.
- Promotes the development of critical thinking skills of all unit personnel through appreciate inquiry.
- Creates and maintains a supportive, resilient, and healthy work environment.
- Advances practice through the development of innovations and change principles.
- Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, required. Master's degree in Nursing, Business or a Healthcare related discipline preferred.
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required, National certification preferred in Oncology or another specialty.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in relevant clinical setting and previous management experience preferred with demonstrated progressive clinical leadership, required.
- Skills: Acute care inpatient or outpatient Oncology experience preferred. Ability to manage relationships, patient outcomes, communication, and conflict effectively.
