Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney with expertise in probate law to join our team in Glenview, Illinois. This position involves handling both contested and uncontested cases, providing strategic guidance, and interacting directly with clients. As a long-term contract role, the successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated paralegal team, allowing them to focus solely on case management and legal strategy.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee probate cases, including both contested and uncontested matters.

- Develop and implement case theories and strategies tailored to individual cases.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide clear legal guidance.

- Work closely with a highly skilled paralegal team handling administrative tasks.

- Handle complex cases requiring advanced expertise and strategic thinking.

- Maintain familiarity with local legal processes in Cook and Lake counties.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of legal documents and filings.

- Provide support and mentorship to less experienced attorneys as needed.

- Manage a caseload of 1-4 cases per month, ensuring quality outcomes.

- Participate in hearings and court proceedings related to probate advocacy. Requirements - Must hold a valid attorney license.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in probate law.

- Proven expertise in handling complex probate cases.

- Familiarity with legal processes in Cook and Lake counties.

- Strong ability to develop case theories and strategies.

- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.

- Ability to work effectively within a team structure.

- Must be located in or near Glenview, Illinois for local court requirements.

The pay range for this position is $50 to $60. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/contract professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit  for more information.
