** Hourly Pay Range:**$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
** Position Highlights:
*** Staff Support  Assistant
* Day shift, M-F, 7 am – 4 pm (hours vary)
* No weekends or nights  - Daytime hours only

* What you will do:

** The Staff Support assists the clinical team with various duties that may include:
* Responds to the immediate needs of the patient by answering patient call lights promptly and courteously.
* As directed, by RN, makes hourly or more frequent rounds on patients for safety, comfort, and meeting patients’ needs/requests
* Positions, lifts, transfers, and ambulates patients as directed by the RN
* Assist with setting up meals for patients and ordering meals
* Keeps patient rooms tidy, refreshes patient’s linen as need, removes unnecessary equipment and linen
* Assists patient with simple hygiene/comfort measures such as washing hands/face and oral care
* As directed by the RN, transports patient to other departments or when patient being discharge
* When directed by the RN, remains with the patient continuously for patient safety.
* Handles infectious waste and linen according to established hospital procedure
* Adheres to proper infection control standards and hand washing techniques to avoid cross contamination
* Cleans and disinfects unit specific equipment* "Runner" to other departments, when needed to obtain necessary items for patient care
