Position: Dental Technician: Finishing (Stain & Glaze)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Stain & Glaze Technician to join our growing team. Our laboratory is at the forefront of the industry’s digital transformation, integrating CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and AI to redefine dental restoration.

In this role, you will be responsible for the esthetic finishing of fixed restorations. Your primary focus will be on staining, glazing, and final polishing to ensure predictable shade outcomes, natural surface textures, and consistent "signature" quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Precision Finishing:
    Execute staining and glazing steps per SOPs; manage value, chroma, and surface characterization to achieve natural esthetics.
  • Quality Control:
    Perform pre-finish verification of case IDs, shades, and materials. Identify and elevate fit or occlusion issues before final delivery.
  • Technical Execution:
    Apply appropriate surface textures and final polish sequences to ensure luster, surface integrity, and durability across various materials.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Document remake/rework drivers and collaborate with the production lead on root‑cause analysis to improve upstream processes.
  • Collaboration:

    Partner closely with CAD/CAM, Milling, and Model Room departments to ensure a seamless workflow.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Prior dental laboratory experience specifically in Zirconia stain and glaze is highly preferred.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Demonstrated ability in shade matching, texture characterization, and final polishing.
  • Mindset: A quality‑first approach with the ability to work within standardized protocols (SOPs) to deliver low‑variability outcomes.
  • Certification:
    Certified Dental Technician (CDT) status is a significant plus.
  • Availability:
    Ability to work a full‑time, on‑site schedule including early huddles and occasional off‑shift coverage.
