Operations Manager
This is an in-office position in Glenview, IL. This is a great opportunity to advance your career while working for a unique family‑friendly hardscape company.
Compensation- Salary Range: 90K to 120K total compensation

- Minimum in-office hours M-F, 8-4pm;
Total of 40-50 hours per week - Project Estimating and Sales
- Focus on Hardscape and WBE projects
- Annual revenue goal: $1.5M, annual gross profit goal: $300K
- Review drawings and specifications and perform material take offs as needed
- Organize project information within our internal data storage infrastructure
- Maintain Project Organization Structure
- Coordinate and support awarded work with Operations Team as follows:
- Submittals:
Prepare product data, shop drawings, subcontractor info for submission into clients - Follow these through to 100% approval. Maintain company‑wide submittal logs
- Materials procurement: work with suppliers to manage lead times and purchasing
- Submittals:
- Take leadership role on all Change Orders and project specific administration items for hardscape jobs
- Ongoing critical Payroll Review and weekly job cost review
- 3-5 years in a related field
- Degree/Certification in Construction Management, Engineering, or Environmental studies preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Proficient with estimating software (Planswift or equivalent)
- Proficient with Google Docs /Sheets
- Proficient with construction management software such as Procore, Build Connect
- Articulate communicator verbally and in written form
- High attention to detail with an eye for quality control
- Able to seamlessly and politely coordinate with materials suppliers, general contractors, engineers, etc.
- Understanding of the commercial construction process
