As a Benefits Administrator you’ll help ensure Wespath benefit plan participants, or their beneficiaries, receive the help they need during a difficult time. You’ll work with the Survivor and Disability Benefits team and with other members of Customer Service and other areas of Wespath to ensure customers receive their benefits from our self‑insured plans when they need them most.
We believe a person who will excel in this role brings:
- Empathy in conversations with benefit recipients
- Comfort with processes that may be automated or manual
- Detail orientation
- The ability to provide team coverage between 8 am and 6 pm CST Monday‑Friday
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation range is $74,000–$80,000 with a bonus opportunity and customary benefits. Final compensation will be set based on the hired applicant’s qualifications. Benefits include:

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Passion for serving customers
- Professional writing skills; ability to prepare clear business correspondence
- Able to perform basic math functions for calculation of premiums, billing reconciliation, audits, and resolution of contributions/distributions
- Ability to understand and interpret multiple plans documents, policies, procedures, legal requirements, and retirement plan concepts
Preferred Requirements /
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical area of study (e.g., math, business, human resources)
- Benefit administration experience with defined benefit, defined contribution, or health benefits
