Senior Accounting Manager

This is a high-visibility role supporting plant accounting and cost accounting across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites.

• Base up to $155K
• 16% target bonus (can exceed target)
• 6% 1:1 401(k) match
• 4%+ additional company contribution

You will lead and improve plant and cost accounting processes.

• Review complex and non-standard journal entries
• Oversee inventory reconciliations and costing files
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Review plant variance reporting and commentary
• Strengthen internal controls across plants
• Partner with Internal Audit and IT
• Drive process and system improvements (SAP environment)
• Ensure consistent policy execution across locations

You will help build one consistent, strong control structure across the organization.

This role includes plant exposure and regular interaction with senior leadership.

• Clean, accurate inventory and costing
• Clear, meaningful variance analysis
• Strong SOX and internal control environment
• Standardized processes across sites
• Smooth audit support

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (required)
• CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 5+ years leading teams or enterprise-wide processes
• Strong cost accounting and manufacturing exposure
• Experience with automated accounting systems (SAP preferred)
• Clear and confident communicator

Plant accounting, cost accounting, and large-scale manufacturing experience are highly relevant.
