Finance Director

We are looking for a full-time Finance Director to join our Client Accounting & Advisory team andог поддерживать клиент из северных пригородов Чикаго.

Salary nutt – $175,000 to $200,000 (anticipated average). Final offer will depend on location, experience, education, skills, and certifications.

Essential

Job Duties
  • Manage, schedule, and oversee the daily operation of the finance department, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Participate in all budgeting and financial reporting preparation and distribution.
  • Supervise general accounting functions, reviewing journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy of cash management, including daily monitoring of liquid cash balances, supporting deposit inquiries, and communicating with banks.
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of month‑end and year‑end reports and audit work papers.
  • Consult with clients on accounting-related transactions.
  • Attend and prepare for board meetings, including agenda creation and presentations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of accounting standards and applicable legislation as it relates to the department.
  • Respond to client concerns promptly and professionally.
Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • CPA or actively pursuing a license.
  • 8–10 years of accounting experience, preferably public accounting.
  • Supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours for meetings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; public speaking.
  • Independent judgment and problem‑solving ability.
  • Team‑oriented mindset.
  • Strong multi‑tasking, prioritization, and organization.
  • Highly motivated, self‑starter with strong initiative.
  • Skilled in MS Office and financial/accounting software systems.
