Finance Director

We are looking for a full-time Finance Director to join our Client Accounting & Advisory team andог поддерживать клиент из северных пригородов Чикаго.

Salary nutt – $175,000 to $200,000 (anticipated average). Final offer will depend on location, experience, education, skills, and certifications.
EssentialJob Duties
- Manage, schedule, and oversee the daily operation of the finance department, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Participate in all budgeting and financial reporting preparation and distribution.
- Supervise general accounting functions, reviewing journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy of cash management, including daily monitoring of liquid cash balances, supporting deposit inquiries, and communicating with banks.
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of month‑end and year‑end reports and audit work papers.
- Consult with clients on accounting-related transactions.
- Attend and prepare for board meetings, including agenda creation and presentations.
- Maintain working knowledge of accounting standards and applicable legislation as it relates to the department.
- Respond to client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- CPA or actively pursuing a license.
- 8–10 years of accounting experience, preferably public accounting.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work outside normal business hours for meetings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; public speaking.
- Independent judgment and problem‑solving ability.
- Team‑oriented mindset.
- Strong multi‑tasking, prioritization, and organization.
- Highly motivated, self‑starter with strong initiative.
- Skilled in MS Office and financial/accounting software systems.
