Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Tax Preparer to join our company. You will work with the owner to gather all necessary documents and complete income tax returns. Our ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Enrolled Agent with at least 8 years experience. There is a possibility to become a partner. Prefer Tax Preparer work in office.
Responsibilities- Organize tax documents, and prepare income tax returns
- Check documents for missing information and/or errors
- Perform other clerical duties as necessary
- Perform quarterly and year end payroll reports
- Valid Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Certified Public Accountant license (preferred) or Enrolled Agent (preferred)
- Bookkeeping experience
- Familiarity with Quickbooks software
- Strong computer and Excel skills
- Experience with Lacerte software
