Description

The Interventional Radiology Lab provides care to both the acute inpatient population as well as the elective outpatient population. Care is primarily provided within the Cardiovascular Lab located on the 4th floor of the Pruyn Pavilion at Glens Falls Hospital. Staff is available 24/7 for any emergency procedure during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Care is provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses and registered radiology technologists.

• Angiogram of Multiple System
• Peripheral Revascularization
• Placement and Maintenance of Hemodialysis Catheter
• Nephrostomy Drainage Tubes
• Placement and Maintenance of Gastrostomy and Jejunostomy Tubes
• Central Line Placement
• Vascular Access to Include Port Placement and Integrity
• Pain Management Intervention
• Paracentesis/Thoracentesis
• Pre and Post-Care for Patient having Renal, Liver, and Lung Biopsy
• Carotid Stenting

Adolescent - Geriatric
Trauma Level I

Cerner and Mc Kesson
Dress code:
Hospital provided scrubs

Requirements

• Previous IR experience - [Required ]
• ACLS and BLS- [Required]
• NY RN license- [Required]
• Experience with Adolescent-Geriatric -[ Required]
• Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, & recovery phase - [Required]
• Float required to Cardiac Cath Lab - [Required]
• Previous traveler - [Highly preferred]
• COVID VACCINATIONS MANDATORY TO FILL THIS NEED. PROOFS MUST BE UPLOADED WITH PROFILE
