Travel RN - Interventional Radiology​/IR - Interventional Radiology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in New York, requiring an active NY RN license and prior IR experience.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology department,

• Care for adolescent to geriatric patients,

• Trauma Level I environment,

• Use of Cerner and McKesson EMR systems,

• Procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery phase responsibilities,

• Floating required to Cardiac Cath Lab,

• Hospital-provided scrubs,

Job Requirements

• Active NY RN license required,

• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required,

• Previous Interventional Radiology experience required,

• Experience with adolescent through geriatric patients required,

• Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery required,

• Must be willing to float to Cardiac Cath Lab,

• COVID vaccination required,

• Previous travel nurse experience highly preferred,

Additional Information

• Daily responsibilities include procedural sedation, patient circulation, and post-procedure recovery care,

• Assignments may include supporting procedures and patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab,

• Hospital-provided scrubs must be worn,

• No more than 5 days of requested time off are permitted,
